I´ll use this thread for sharing my studies and explain them sometimes

I made this one a long time ago, practicing some of the advice given by Ethan Becker.

First I try to break down the anatomy in simpler shapes over the image im stuying, after that I try to recreate the shapes but without tracing. In the right image, I traced the silouette of the character in red, after that I try to draw lines over the silouette to make the same character but from another angle. I also used the shape of the torso to build some different poses.

I made this one today, In this study I just tried to somplify the torso as much as possible with that heptagonic shape. It works pretty well, but makes it difficult to study depth tho.

in this painting I started with darker tones, then added the light and painted the darkest shadows at last.
